Buoyant Ventures invests in early-stage companies that can generate an outsized positive impact on the climate while quickly and efficiently scaling. Buoyant focuses both on climate mitigation – reducing greenhouse gas emissions – and adaptation – minimizing risks presented by and helping people to cope with weather patterns exacerbated by climate change.
Horizon Environment and Climate Solutions
Horizon Environment and Climate Solutions is a one billion dollar fund that makes growth equity investments into businesses that support one of five themes: ecosystem services and water, waste and materials, sustainable food and agriculture, sustainable transport and clean energy.
Burnt Island Ventures
Burnt Island Ventures invests in water technology, helping accelerate solutions across water access, treatment, reuse, utility efficiency, and climate adaptation. They fund early-stage companies developing technologies and business models that strengthen water security, efficiency, and resilience at scale.
Mad Agriculture Perennial Fund
MAD Agriculture's Perennial Fund provides financing to help farmers transition to regenerative agricultural practices that improve soil health, water stewardship, and long-term farm resilience. It links organizations and movements that advance agroecological solutions.
Root Capital
Root Capital invests in the growth of agricultural enterprises that support smallholder farmers to grow rural prosperity and build the resilience of farming families around the world. They help finance smallholder farmers who promote climate-smart and regenerative agricultural practices, such as agroforestry and soil conservation, and provide agronomic and business advisory services specifically tailored to help them prepare for the threats from a changing climate.
